Architecture & Research

Lyndah Katusiime is a Ugandan photojournalist based in Tianjin, China, documenting the deep connections between people, nature, and built environments. Her work explores themes of displacement, cultural heritage, and environmental change, capturing untold stories through a lens that balances beauty with urgency.

With a background in architecture, Lyndah brings a unique perspective to visual storytelling, often focusing on how communities adapt to shifting landscapes. From the shores of Lake Victoria to the highlands of Bududa, her photography sheds light on resilience, tradition, and the human impact on the environment. Her work has been exhibited locally at the Makerere Art Gallery, Motiv Uganda, and at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala, and she was a second-place winner of the Young Photographer Award by the Uganda Press Photography Award (UPPA), and she is also a Product Ambassador for OPPO. Passionate about solutions-based storytelling, Lyndah aims to spark conversations on sustainable living, conservation, and the future of human habitats.
